There are always new trends appearing and old ones falling out of favour when it comes to weddings. But now there’s a new survey that’s asking millennials who are attending weddings this summer what gifts they’d prefer to receive as favours.
EZ Lifestyle surveyed 1,000 people in the 21 to 37 age range to find out what summer wedding gift bag items they want to find at the ceremonies they’re attending.
The organisation polled them on popular summer gift bag items compared to some of the top wellness trends of the moment and found that 75 per cent would prefer the healthy items to the more traditional options.
For example, millennial wedding guests would rather receive some CBD oil than a sleep mask and ear plugs to help them get a good night’s rest. They’d also rather be given a natural hangover prevention supplement than a hangover kit containing a traditional painkiller.
Other items that they’d like to find as wedding favours included a natural temporary tattoo, an aloe vera succulent and sustainable sunglasses. They’d even prefer to be served non-fried high protein donuts than their traditional counterpart.
Tom Greenberg, CEO of EZ Lifestyle, commented: “For brides and grooms, we hope this study helps provide new and healthy alternatives to the traditional selection of wedding gift bags.”
For brides, one top trend to keep an eye on is wedding dresses with pockets. We don’t know many girls who don’t get excited when they find a beautiful dress that has the practicality of pockets, so it’s about time this filtered into wedding dresses.
